     I liked the web design assignment. I feel that parents now have more experience with social media and a website may be a more relatable way to give out information. It also allowed for me to customize the way it was organized. I gave it a darker theme with white lettering because i find it easier for my eyes to look at screens that aren't stark white. It can also help students keep their notes in one place so they don't have to worry about loosing their papers.        I found a page by a pre K teacher that includes a lot of helpful information such as a calendar for school events and an email parents can contact her with. She also made her page very colorful without being overwhelming and the information provided is organized. additionally, parents can find additional learning resources on her page for if their students are struggling with work at home, which i hadn't thought of before but makes a lot of sense. here is the page: https://mwe.haskellps.org/index.php?pageID=264650_4     I think as a teacher canvas will be the main form of technology I use for communication with parents and students.      I think Diigo can defiantly be useful in a professional setting to share information or sources. In this class I think its helpful to learn how it works, and to start doing research for when i do eventually go into a classroom as a teacher. Right now I can't really use some of the sources since I'm not a teacher yet, but i think it has helped me build a background.     A s for blogging, writing on public forums still makes me a little nervous because I am very cautious about my digital footprint and what I say online. I do like the more informal vibe of blogs though. I like being able to write in shorter stints rather that long essays.       I think twitter can be helpful if you have a specific question about teaching that is unlikely to already be on the internet. Since I'm not a teacher yet it hasn't been very helpful, and I prefer to ask questions I have about teaching to either google or my parents. i did find a chat about books for school that i thought looked cool though. I think in the future (like when i become a teacher) I will use my peers and administration instead of twitter to seek help.     The digital divide is the difference in the technology skills of students. This is normaly based on socioeconomic status, as lower income families may not have as much exposure to using computers, so those children may appear to lack skills that children with computers at home have developed. As a teacher,  this can be combated by doing step by step tutorial on how to complete assignments or making alternative, on paper assignments for kids without internet access at home.   ...
